Mobile Certificate Enrollment Decomission Notice

Starting October 8th, 2016, mobile devices that authenticate with AD credentials no longer require certificate renewals for enterprise access. Depending on the type of device used to connect, there are some steps that have to be followed in order to remove the old certificate, so that the underlying authentication with AD credentials is allowed. Authenticating with the certificate is still permitted, until the certificate expires.
